A reputation that spread across the continent

The Nissan Fairlady (SRL 311), sold in America under the name Datsun 2000, is one of the earliest successful Japanese sports cars in the Americas.

In the late 1960s, the car competed in the SCCA series, mainly against European competitors, and took an impressive series victory in 1969.

Functional beauty and nostalgia

The color scheme is the same as the first collaborative race car between Datsun and BRE, led by Pete Brock, the self-made man who designed the Shelby Daytona Coupe under Carroll Shelby.

BRE also dominated the series with the subsequent 510 and 240Z models, making a huge contribution to improving Nissan's image in North America.

Greatly improved practicality

This vehicle, which competes in domestic races, has been modified in various ways to take advantage of its structure. The front spoiler, which is integrated with the fender, contributes greatly to weight reduction and ease of maintenance. The carburetor was changed from Solex to Weber, achieving both ease of riding and power. The old suspension structure has been fundamentally improved.

Improvements that directly impact functionality have been subtly incorporated into even the most invisible parts and smallest details.
